Sutter Club Artwork Lighting with Framing Projector

This historical artwork and many others in the Library Room of the Sutter Club are illuminated with a framing projector mounted on the beams of the ceiling. The framing projector contains a series of lenses and shutters that condense and shape the light as it exits the fixture to “frame” the light to the painting. The result is an effect that make it appear backlit.
