When designer Michael Sestak of Sestak Lighting Designs decided on an illuminated sculpture instead of a typical chandelier over a client’s staircase, curves and wings came to mind. To help achieve the soft, textured appearance, he used ACRYLITE® Trend sheet in the Swing pattern from CYRO Industries of Rockaway, New Jersey.
The diamond-checkered surface creates dazzling effects without further fabrication efforts. The curves were easily accomplished with the material, unlike glass, which must be slumped at very high temperatures.
